Angie and I have mutual friends whose daughter and young husband are feeling called to international missions. This young woman recently posted a request for prayer as her family begins the process of preparing to fulfill this call; a process that includes selling their newly purchased home, moving to a new city and state, and going to Bible College and seminary.
For most of us, such a proposition might seem illogical, overwhelming, and downright frightening. Knowing that reality, Angie posted the following reply to her prayer request – a reply that, I’m sure, not only brought comfort and encouragement to them, but also has incredibly broad application.
“Go with God. Run with faith. Live with purpose. Learn with zeal. Love with abandon. Eyes forward, trusting God even when it doesn’t make sense.”
Read them, as I did, over and over again and apply them to ANYTHING you may be facing today. –Dave
